Some spaces get overlooked. Others get transformed.

This recent project saw us complete the electrical installation for a bespoke under-stairs bar, working alongside the team at Kitchens by J.S. Geddes — with the final install carried out on Easter Sunday to keep the project moving and ready for use.

Turning Unused Space into a Feature

What’s usually wasted space beneath the stairs has been turned into a real focal point — something you notice as soon as you walk through the door.

The design combines:

  • Frameless glass detailing
  • Custom-built storage
  • Integrated lighting throughout
  • A clean, modern finish that fits seamlessly into the home

Our role was to ensure the electrical installation supported both the look and the function of the space — keeping everything neat, discreet, and built to last.

Lighting and Power, Done Properly

As with any feature installation, the detail matters.

We installed:

  • Integrated lighting to highlight the bar area without overpowering it
  • Discreet power supplies to maintain clean lines
  • A layout designed to support practical, everyday use

The result is a space that works just as well for entertaining as it does as a standout design feature.

Simple Idea. Properly Executed.

Projects like this show how a simple idea, when executed properly, can completely change how a home feels and functions.

A great concept from Kitchens by J.S. Geddes, and a pleasure for Seamill Electrics to be part of — even if it meant getting it over the line on Easter Sunday.
